Terms of Service
Draft prepared October 14, 2026 · Not yet effective
1. About these terms
These draft terms describe intended conditions for using MyFocusRing. They must be finalized with the legal operator, a working contact, effective date, and applicable jurisdiction before launch.
2. Using MyFocusRing
MyFocusRing is a personal productivity and planning tool. Use it lawfully, respect others’ rights, and do not interfere with its operation or attempt unauthorized access.
3. Accounts
Provide an email address you control and protect access to your email account and device. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account. Contact instructions for suspected unauthorized access must be supplied before launch.
4. Your content
You retain your rights in tasks, notes, and other content you create. To the extent needed to operate the features you use, you authorize processing of that content. The final Privacy Policy will explain storage, retention, and deletion.
5. App and website rights
The app, website design, and associated materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may use the app for its intended personal productivity purposes, subject to applicable store terms and law.
6. Availability and notifications
Features may change over time. Notification delivery depends on permissions, device settings, and operating-system behavior. The app is not an emergency service and must not be relied on for safety-critical reminders.
7. Pricing and store purchases
Any price, subscription, or paid feature must be clearly disclosed before purchase. If purchases are offered, the relevant app store’s payment, cancellation, and refund terms also apply. This draft does not announce a paid plan or subscription.
8. Third-party services
Authentication, distribution, and hosting may be provided by third parties. Their applicable terms and policies govern those services. References to Apple or Google do not imply endorsement.
9. Suspension and ending use
You may stop using the app. The operator may restrict misuse where permitted by law. Before launch, account deletion instructions and any notice or appeal process must be confirmed.
10. Disclaimers and responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is offered without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability or particular productivity results. Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Changes, disputes, and contact
Material changes should be communicated appropriately and an effective date provided. The operator’s identity, support contact, and applicable dispute provisions must be finalized before these terms take effect.
